| *Well, this is my last newsletter,
my very last newsletter. I want you all to know that this has
been a super terrific year!! I have thoroughly enjoyed working
with your children. They are the greatest! You all have
been so kind, thoughtful, and supportive. I thank you so much for
that. *In math we are learning about taking a survey and what that means. We are working with money. I've given each student a piggy bank to use in school. I started them off with 5 pennies each. They are able to earn more pennies by being caught doing something really good or showing really good brain power. Students may not bring money from home to add to their banks. This is strictly for the classroom. *On the last day of school there will be a school wide picnic. If you are planning to attend I thought you'd like to know that the kindergarten will be called to start their lunch at about 10:45. So if you want to eat with your child you need to be here early. The logistics of feeding everyone requires an early start, and kindergarten goes first. **PICNIC for 1ST and KINDERGARTEN!! At the rec from 11:00 to 1:00. It's okay if you meet us there with whatever you are bringing. Please don't forget! We have the first pavilion. It looks like it's going to be a very hot day. Those bringing water please be generous. |
| REMINDER: The last 2 days of school will be early dismissal. After the last day picnic you are free to take your child home. Just let me know you're leaving so I can be sure s/he has everything that needs to go home. |
